Problems loading database

Whenever I try to start a historical league or import a player, the comp crashes to the desktop after loading the first one or two guys. I know I have the path right because, like I said, it loads the first one or two guys. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I just got a new computer, had no problems with the game on my old one... here are my specs.

Pentium 4 2.0 ghz
256 mb RAM
Newest version of game
Lahman ver 4.5

Any help would be appreciated!

How much free HD space do you have? This sounds like an issue that we had with an earlier version of v4, are you certain that you have the most updated version?

I'm an idiot... I thought I was running 4.2, because I was on my last comp, but I wasn't on this one... thanks for the fast reply, everything is alright with the world now... once again thanks and I won't bother you again.
