Well lookie who's back with a crash problem lol..

No longer is the crash occuring while I'm in game, it's on the screen when I try to load my League?

64MB SDRAM
Pentium III
Windows 98se
DirectX 9.0

I'm wondering as well, would all of these crashes stopped if I added, say..256 more megabytes of SDRAM?

PCline26 - I failed to help out in your last problem but in this one I think I can provide something useful.

No longer is the crash occuring while I'm in game, it's on the screen when I try to load my League?
That is sometimes a sign of a corrupt league. Leagues can get corrupted easily if you experience any crashes while the game is open (as you probably know) so the goal is to have OOTP never crash. If you can't even open the league that means you can't try the reset button on it either, maybe you have a backup though? (crosses fingers)

As Steve says the extra RAM will not hurt and heck, 64MB is really not enough for many modern apps. That said, if you are having a lot of program difficulties I think the main problem lies elsewhere, and even with a RAM upgrade you could still likely run more efficiently.

Reason I think it's something besides just a low end system:
I ran OOTP4 on a PC with a Celeron 333 chip and 64 MB (Later 96MB) for several months. The PC was connected to a small home network and I multitasked a bit. No heavy resource apps (like winamp, any Norton monitoring program(s), any firewall, any other Anti-Virus app, or that MS Word "findfast" program ) but I would regularly have 4-8 web browsers open, Outlook, an Explorer or 2, Agent, and I'd usually be DLing files in the background. With that setup OOTP4 ran large (36 team) leagues with no problems whatsoever. Note that to get that performance (and no OOTP crash ever) I tweaked my system to use the system memory based on the exact amount I have installed (over-ride the default system memory settings), I made sure that on startup I did not load any extra apps, I had minimal desktop shortcut icons (maybe 4 or 5 total), no screensaver (duh), no destop background image, and nothing in the systray except the clock. There are many sites that step you through tweaking your system for max perfromance in case you are interested in that. For most PC users they would rather have nothing to do with that work & that's fine as long as they can afford a new box every 6 months.

Anyway, make sure that you are the very least not running lots of extra resource hogging apps while you run OOTP. If you are on minimum system requirements end of the scale you often have to make some sacrifices to get things working a little better, and turning off all un-needed background programs is one sacrifice. If you still have serious OOTP crash & freeze problems after some system tweaking then you could try a OOTP uninstall/reinstall (instructions can be found in this forum I think), and if that still does not work you may want to make some backups of your key files and then reformat your HD (or take it in to get reformatted if you are not PC tech savvy) to solve the problem. If you uninstall OOTP or reformat make sure you unlicense it first and make a hard copy (printed on a physical page) of your order ID.

Good luck, PC issues are very frustrating but most are solvable.

More Ram is always good. 64MB is a pretty small amount these days. It could be something more then that like Killebrew said. It could be too many programs running in the backround, a corrupt league, a corrupt version of OOTP, or a corrupt version of Windows.
