Problem

A friend of mine just bought the program and here is the email he sent me with the information about the error he is getting.

i get the illegal procedure message and says must be shut down and comes with a ootp4 code....here are the details;

OOTP4 caused an invalid page fault in

Sounds like he needs to make sure and update both his video card drivers and Direct X to version 8.

ok he was able to get it to work but supposedly the lettering and stuff is super small, any hints how to fix that.

Might be a video resolution thing - he could try changing his display size to 1024 x 768 if he has not done so already. Next thing to check is whether he has "small fonts" selected in the display properties. Most users will never need to change this stuff for OOTP but if he has unusual settings that might be the cause of the problem.
