Hey! I wrote a while back about a guy not being able to download and asking about buying a CD. Well he still can't get it to download, he has an old computer and dial-up, do u guys have any other advice or is there a way it can be emailed to him or something? I dunno, this must have happened to someone else before.

The single install file is too big to email, has he tried to use a download program yet? They usually work well with dial uppers.

You might want to get your buddy to download the floppy disk sized version of the OOTP4 install file - they broke the file up into 10floppy sized files:

He will need winrar to connect the files, it's a commonly used program though, highly recommended.

If he still had troubhle DLing this you could DL the 10 files and email them to him directly - that's pretty rough for a guy to play in a league without being able to DL 1.4 MB files - be aware that if this guy is in a league with you that he will regularly need to download 3 MB league files if he wants to keep up with the other clubs.

(Edit: if you email these files to him they must be sent in 10 separate emails)

Another possible option for him: Not sure if this is an error, but according to the elicense site, you can actually buy OOTP4 on a CD (for 32 bucks). Check it out here:

I have personally used Getright in the past when I had a dialup with great success. How old is his computer? I am just curious because I would hate for this guy to download the game after this many problems and not be able to run it.
