Graphics problem

I did a search and found people with the same type problem and they got it fixed. Was curious on how they did it.

This is what my screen looks like, and when I scroll it all runs together rather than the box moving.

The problem started after some XP live updates, and defragging my hard drive.

I have attemped to uninstall and re-install OOTP.

Try disabling Direct 3D.

Tried all that. Another weird thing about my problem is that I uninstalled and reinstalled and it appeared to be working properly. But once I installed the 4.2b update it started back up again.

Seems to be working again now with the patch installed. When I opening OOTP from the Start Menu it would appear like that, but I openeded the OOTP directory and ran it from there, it appeared ok?

Hopefully this will at least help someone who cant figure what the hell just happened someday. I know I couldnt.
