You say "one of your leagues" so I will assume that all your other leagues open fine. That's very important so please clarify if my assumtion is incorrect
.Some guesses based on your message: - Was the league backed up onto a CD? If yes then you need to take the "read-only" properties off of each file within that league folder. - Did the game recently crash while that league was open? If yes and you cannot open the league at all then it's likely corrupt, and you will need to use the most recent backup you made for that league (if applicable). - If this is a solo league have you editted the league with any outside program or text editor? Any editting error can easily make a league unloadable and most of the utils suggest you make backups before proceeding. - If this is an online league are you sure you have the entire file? To reduce file size some leagues will only include the changed files in the league download. In that case if you had deleted the folder before unzipping the latest league file that would cause an error like this. Good luck, hope one of those idea's apply. I can't think of anything else that could cause only one league to not load. |

Sorry - I actually can't open any leagues. I have 3 online leagues and one solo league. I haven't backed any of them up since they are online and I'm not concerned about the solo league too much.
What I think it might be is that I deleted one of the leagues through explorer and I think the game might be looking for that league file as a default. When I open the game the screen is completely blank. I can move around, but when I go to open one of the leagues that is when it crashes. |

Ok, if you deleted the "last league loaded" or default league then that is probably what is causing this, here are the steps to follow to correct this to atleast get your game running again.....
If the league you deleted was the previously used quick start game, then the game is crashing because it can't load the missing league file. Create a new folder with the same exact name.lg as the old league. Copy the .dat files from the create folder into it. The game should then open up. From there you can create a new league. Hope this helps.....let me know if you have any other questions or this does not solve the problem. |

Hmmm,,,make sure you have the 'career 2002.lg' folder in your OOTP directory. If the game cannot find the leauge in 'setup.dat' it should by defualt load the 'career 2002.lg'. So I would make sure you have that folder.
