Computer takes over Human-controlled game

I was in the 8th inning of the third game of the World Series.

I was playing the game PBP with everything under human-control.

Then the computer took over the rest of the game.

This is the first time this has happened while playing play-by-play.

It frequently happens when I intermix pbp and simming within a game.

What causes this...and is there anything that can be done to stop it?

The only time that I have seen it happen in 1,000's of games is when I challenge a play and the ump throws me out.

Apparently, this is what happened...Both managers were ejected around this time.

To avoid this problem, I guess I won't be arguing with the umpires anymore.

Bummer - I was hoping this thread would have kind of a "2001" motif......

"Open the pod bay doors, Hal."

"I can't do that, Dave."

"Sacrifice the runner over to second, Hal."

"I can't do that either, Dave."
