Double Switches in the 1950's
I play with the ERA setting to the 1950's...a time when it was very rare to insert a pinch hitter into the game for a position player when he hit for the pitcher. I am aware, however, pinch hitters would sometimes be inserted when they hit for a position player.
Many times when the computer pinch hits for a pitcher, it inserts the pinch hitter into the lineup and replaces a "regular". All I want it to do is let the pinch hitter hit, but not take out a regular. Is this possible...or is the game set up for the modern game only? |
