Need help please - Online leagues

Sorry to bother you again with another really stupid question but I have just been accepted to join my first online league. Having never played online before I really have no idea of what I am doing.

I have been trying to download the league file but have been getting the message -

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\PROGRA~\DAP\DAP.EXE

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Being relatively useless with computers I have no idea what this means.

I have version 4.1 at the moment but have downloaded 4.2b in case this is the problem, although I do not know how to patch it.

Also since I have no experience of playing in an online league, I am not really sure of what to do in the Online League Options screen in the OOTP4 game. I have enabled the internet options but beyond that I'm not sure what to do.

If you need anymore information please ask me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the first round of the free agency starts tomorrow.

That error you are getting I am pretty sure is from Download Accelerator (DAP).

Try reinstalling DAP or...

Try right clicking the file and SAVE AS and save to the folder you want.

"In order to install the patch, simply unzip the OOTP4.EXE into your OOTP4 folder on your HD."

If you open the update zip file that is the text message that explains how to patch the game. Basically all you are doing is over-writing the original OOTP4.EXE file.
