Apparently it's not in this version, but i hope it is fixed with a patch later on because on my crappy moniter it can only be played in full screen mode.

The "full screen" mode did not work well with the added HTML that is now in the game. Not sure if it will be placed back in or not. Could try updating video drivers as that may allow for better screen resolution.

I as well must use full screen mode. I updated drivers to DirectX 9.0 , and disabled direct 3D Mode. Still have the problem of letters being broken up to the point of being unreadable.

Broken text problem cure.

OK!! Changed my screen resolution to 1024 x 768 from 800 x 600 . Also updating to DirectX 9.0 from 8.1 will help.

So for others with this problem, (text broken up) at least in my case with a older & slower computer it was the anwser. When I am not in the OOTP5 game, just go to Control Panel, then click on display, reset your settings back to your original choice for normal use. Only takes a few seconds.

You may also have to disable 3D.

Hope this helps.
