Cant convert ootp4 league

It's not working. I tried typing in the league with the '.lg' on the end and it prompts me to type it in without the '.lg'. When I do that it says it cant find the path. Ive even tried moving my league to the "C:\New League" directory and it still wont work. Help!

You need to make sure that the path is EXACT!!!!!!!!! I have converted several leagues w/o issue.

Is this a league that you actually played or are you trying to covert one "outside" of OOTP4?

Do you have another league by the same name you are trying to convert?

Like in another post.
Create a directory called ABC in the root (C:\ABC) than copy
all the files from your league to the new location and give a try.

No, i'm really thinking it has to be something with my system. Every time it comes up "path not found"

Tried that. I have a league named "tb.lg" and I copied it to my C: directory so all I have to do is type "c:\tb". I tried typing "C:\TB", "c:\TB", "C:\tb", "c:\tb" nothing will work.

Even tried copying it to my "D" drive, and rebooted my computer...but still no luck.

When typing the original league name type the extension as .LG not .lg.

OK, I got this message.

"Could not create folder:
C:\Program Files\Games\OOTP5\c:\tb.LG.lg"

Maybe it's because I didnt install OOTP5 in the default dirctory?
I'll be back later, gotta go to work.

Don't type "lg" when it asks for the "new name" of the league in OOTP5, where you install it doesn't matter.

I didnt,,I never got as far as to name the converted league. This was asking me to find the OOTP4 league.
