Position Players Pitching

I posted this in General Discussion but I guess it goes here. Maybe it will get more attention this way.


It is currently the middle of June.

On my team, position players have pitched 5 times in the season's 2 1/2 months.

This should NOT be happening. Period. Position players should not pitch. It should be coded into the game.

If position != pitcher, player does not pitch.

I would sacrifice the fun of watching Mark Grace imitate Mike Fetters if it would mean that Fred McGriff and Todd Hundley did not pitch the 8th and 9th innings of a game I was winning, causing me to lose.


And just for kicks, I checked around the rest of the league, and only two games were pitched by every other position player in the league combined. Why is this so lopsided??? I would say, "Oh well, at least it balances out," if it were happening to every team. But this seems to be just my team.
