Closer Not Pitching in Save Situations

I don't know why this is only happening to my team and not the other 29, but...

Eric Gagne has 34 appearances.

10 of them were in save situations.

He has all of 5 saves this year. He constantly pitches the eighth inning, or even worse, he simply doesn't pitch in save situations.

The rest of my staff has 11 saves. Paul Quantrill just pitched the ninth for his 4th save. He's my setup man. Gagne was well-rested, yet was not used in the game.

But I look at every other team and the closer has 10, 15, 20 saves.

Anyone else having this problem?

What are your tendencies set at?

Well they seem to have reset again.

Of course you can't change the individual hook settings.

This is about the third time that I've gone into my strategies to find everything has reset.

I think they reset every time you quit the game.

What should they be set at, since I need to set them again anyway?

EDIT: I just quit and restarted and the settings were saved. So it obviously doesn't happen when you quit. But for some reason, the strategies keep resetting, and not just hook settings either.

This will be fixed, I am not sure where this came from as it was not an issue during testing...believe me I tried this area myself.

I guess that would explain why Dave Roberts had 24 stolen bases at the end of May and 25 at the end of June. I'm willing to bet my tendencies -- including his stealing tendency -- were reset sometime around the turn of the month.

Back to the closer, I usually put the global hook setting for starting pitchers in the middle, since I have some very good pitchers and some very poor pitchers, and I can't set individual tendencies. I set the hook setting for relievers to be very slow, since I have a strong bullpen.

But since it's resetting, would having the hook setting for relievers in the middle influence the save opportunities for my closer?
