Hitting Streak Bug?

I noticed that 6 games into my 2nd season that some players have 12 game hitting streaks. Is that a bug or is that accounting for the previous season as well?

It is considering the leftover streak from last season. In real life this is not done that way, but oh well. It is not a bug. There has been some discussion on this and I guess the 400 team decided to leave it the way it is.

Personally, I kind of like this. Nobody told Cal Ripken that his games played streak ended at 162 for 15+ seasons in a row. It may not be the way it is in "real life," but hey, Nashville doesn't have a major league team in "real life" either - now, thanks to the magic of OOTP5, they do on my hard drive.
