Out of position bug

I wanted one of my speedy leftfielders currently in the majors to learn and play centerfield on the fly.

His ratings in left is a C-998.

His stats in left 116 GMS, 223 T.C., 990 Def. Innings, 0 Errors.
His stats in center 16 GMS, 71 T.C. 129 Def Innings, 57 errors.

What's up w/ that? Did he forget how to catch by shifting over a couple hundred feet?

Also happened with a right fielder that I wanted to learn left in the majors.

In right, he had a 5 errors in the same amount of time, in left, he had 16 GMS, 38 T.C., 139 Def. Innings and 35 errors.

Bit excessive?

Are you playing a historical league?

I'm using a 2002 roster set in a career league. So, yeah in a sense it is historical (it was in V4 format, so had to import it as well).

Just read through the original thread, hopefully they'll come up wth a solution.
