Problem saving leagues

First off, I must say that this game looks great, obviously an improvement over OOTP4 in both options and graphics. However after playing around with all of the features for a while I decided to start a new fictional league and I ran into a problem. I eventually saved the league after a while and exited the program. When I started the program up again and clicked on "open up an existing league" and clicked on the name of my league, an operation error came up. I tried it a few more times, still with the same result. So, I started a few more leagues, all with the same result. Then I went to the OOTP5 folder on my desktop, and I found that there were no .lg files, except for the career2003.lg file that came with the game.

I have tried many times to create and save leagues, and not one time has a .lg file appeared in my OOTP5 folder. I really enjoy OOTP5 and this would severely hinder my enjoyment of this game if I can't create and save leagues, and I would appreciate if anyone could provide some imput.

Click on My computer, right click on you HD and select properties.

i can't find it, but i know i have a bunch since it is a new computer and i don't have a lot of programs on my computer.

i found it. It says I have 13.5 GB left of unused memory
