Problem: Ignoring DH settings in League Setup

Hello,

Following the FAQ, I've got 5.0 installed, Win XP, Athlon 1GB, 512 MB Ram, 6.something GB HDD space....

Ok, now that's out of the way...

I'm playing an "American League" team with DH set to Yes in the League Setup Screen, but when I try to put a player into the lineup as a DH, the option is not available (in the green box titled "Position...")

I read an earlier post where the guy stated he was running 5.01 and saw this problem (only he set DH=NO and had Designated Hitters - just the opposite). I'll install 5.01 to see if it helps. In the meantime...

I can't imagine so many people would be playing this game and not complained (due to the lack of messages on the board complaining about this problem) so I'm forced to assume it's something I did wrong in my League Setup. Like I said, everything LOOKS ok, but maybe I'm missing something.

Ideas?

I've not seen this, you might wanna check both the league setup and see if all of the other positions are filled first then try to insert a DH.

Thanks for the quick reply, Steve. Here's some more info:

In Triple A, Double A and Single A, The DH is enabled. I can insert one at any time in the lineup.

In my Big League club, Every position is filled with at least one player, and DH is still not available as a position to insert a player in.

I've not seen or heard of this issue, what type of league is it? You are trying to insert him in the "DH" lineup aren't you?
