Scoring Bug
Hi All,
Just found a scoring bug that most likely needs fixing. Here is what happen. My Oakland A's are at home. We have a tied game going the bottom of the 12 inning and I checked my bench for pinch hitters. While there, I decided to go ahead and commit my closer to start warming up in the bullpen. Back in the game, I manage to eek out a win and I never needed my closer after all who was warming up in the pen. However, he gets the win for the game instead of my last picture. In summary, my winning pitcher faced no batters!!!!!!! Still loving the game despite the scoring bug.

Are you really in Bangkok? I was just there for a couple months myself - just got back early this month. One in Bangkok, and one in Chiang Mai.
Anyway, this has happened to me once. Similar to you, I went into an extra inning (10) game, and I was the visiting team. Chose to warm up my closer, and he got the win even though I didn't put him in. This isn't something that happens like every game, but I have noticed this once. |

Dback,
Yep, really from Bangkok. At least now I am. Originally from Iowa and grew up playing little league baseball. I moved to Bangkok about five years ago and now I manage a little internet cafe. I am photographer by trade, but not making enough shooting. I really miss USA baseball. I can watch a few games here, but they are always on too early in the morning. Chiang Mai is a beautiful and cooler city. :-) And I bet you didnt want to leave when you left Thailand. That's what happen to me. BobbyL

This should be moved to OT.
![]() I felt kinda bad leaving, but the REAL, HONEST reason I did was because I became baseball-sick. Had enough football. We got some games, like Monday night fooftball on Tuesday morning - live! But I couldn't wait to get back onto a team. We got back just in time for me to tryout/register with a very competitive Babe Ruth team. Darn team is all full of 14 yr olds, which certainly added to the difficulty of getting on the team. Every day, we went to a little high-speed internet place to check emails, and of course, so I could keep up to date on the forum here. Stayed at Verrachai Court, not sure if that means much to you, though. Anyway, we were there for a total of five months -- just like a little sabbatical for me. Being home schooled, if you can even call it that .
