ootp v4 c. runtime error

When starting my ootp v4 c ,get a runtime error message and game goes to desk-top.No changes have been made.Any ideas??

Without the slightest info about your machine it's really hard to guess. You didn't happen to delete any league, did you?

466 mhz Intel...4.5 GB hard drive free......128 ram...windows '98...no deletions of files

Try defraging your hard drive. If nothing else -- once you get it working again (hopefully), then it will improve performance slightly.
