moving league to laptop

I want to transfer my 1958 league from desktop to laptop. I tried burning the file onto a cd and moving it that way, but the league wouldn't load when I opened the game. Suggestions? Thanks.

Try changing the properties of the files in the league folder. I think they get changed to "Read Only" when you burn them.

Be aware that you'll probably have to change that read-only status on EVERY file.

For that reason, it's better to .zip up your league, burn the .zip to CD, and then unzip the league onto the second computer.

Or just get yourself an ethernet crossover cable or a hub and transfer over a wire, which is what I do.
