Steve Kuffrey...HELP!

I purchased OOTP online.

It is version 5.12 .

I want to play a historical league.

I downloaded an access 2000 database from http://baseball1.com/statistics/ and unzipped it to C:/stats

Tried to start a historical league and got the following error message:

Could not open database. Path not found or wrong version.

Went to FAQ's online and saw your post to 1) Make sure you have the latest patch for the game and 2) Make sure the path is valid

Question: I KNOW the path to the database is valid... since my version (5.12) is newer than what is listed on the OOTP download site could I be having problems with compatability? If so how should I handle it?

Download the "comma-delimited" version. Type in the path exactly as it appears after you have unzipped it in it's own folder.

Do you know why the Access database wouldn't work?

I've got Microsoft XP...the whole shebang.... thought it would work...

Access one isn't compatible w/ the game.
