OOTP 4 Minimum Screen Resolution

I want to purchase OOTP 4, but I just read that the minimum screen resolution is 1024 x 768. However, I also read the FAQ page and it said if your hardware doesn't support this, you can still run the game in Full Screen mode. My laptop only supports up to 800 x 600. Can I run the game?

If so, will anything run distorted/look bad?

Yes, you can, just run it in full-screen mode, thats what I do.

One thing though, make sure all your video card drivers are up to date, old drivers have caused some problems in 800x600 res.

i'm running it in 800x600 without using the full screen with no trouble.
