I had OOTP open, I think it was on the standings page mid-season. My wife wanted to use the computer, so pressed Windows-L to switch to the login page, signed in and checked some email.
When I switched back to my login, OOTP was completely non-responsive. It would not even paint itself. I had to go to the task manager and end process to close it. I have a Dell Inspriron laptop, 1.2GHz, 256 MB RAM. I'm running Windows XP, and windows update offers me no uninstalled patches. |

You should save your game and exit the application before you log out. If you cannot exit the game from within the application, use the Windows Task Manager to stop the application. This is the same error type as the powersave mode and screensaver coming on.

You will also find with XP that if your wife had logged on first and you had switched to your log on, to play OOTP, it wouldn't start giving you an e-license error.
