Nothing major...

I've got a hitter who put a hit into the left field corner. He went for a triple and got throwed out. When he was thrown out it said, "Vasquez extends his hitting streak to 11 games!". He's 0-3 so far on the day and getting thrown out didn't extend his hitting streak

The game is correct. In the situation you just described, the batter would be credited with a double, thrown out trying to extend to a triple.

So, wouldn't he be 1 for 3 instead of 0 for 3? I assumed that one of them would be representative of the statement if that were the case.

He should be 1-3 w/ a double.

Hmm, after he batted the lineup shown down the left side in blue still had him as 0-3, but when I look at the logs it seems that its credited right. Maybe I just looked at it wrong.
