Nothing major...
I've got a hitter who put a hit into the left field corner. He went for a triple and got throwed out. When he was thrown out it said, "Vasquez extends his hitting streak to 11 games!". He's 0-3 so far on the day and getting thrown out didn't extend his hitting streak Just FYI

In the situation you just described, the batter would be credited with a double, thrown out trying to extend to a triple.

Hmm, after he batted the lineup shown down the left side in blue still had him as 0-3, but when I look at the logs it seems that its credited right. Maybe I just looked at it wrong.
