Not Responding?

Never had this problem until after the patch...

When I finish my "FA signing period" and have my players, I click "Finish All Days" and select "YES" (I am sure). 2 problems...

1. If and when I get a trade offer notice the game does not stop and allow me to access the e-mail. When I finally get to the e-mail, it says the offer is no longer available as 6 or 7 days have passed.

2. The game quits responding...after clicking "YES" the "TRADES" box comes up and the game freezes.

I have to do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and shut down the game. The game does re-open back up to the same spot.

Any other programs open at the time? How long are you waiting before hard booting?

Been playing both on and offline. Had some programs open that haven't had an adverse effect since buying the game. The problem came up tonight. I've also gone and closed all the programs running in the background. After closing programs, but still online now, I have 69% resourses free. Still locking up. Went thru the coaches signing fine...the log on FA signings shows the signings on Day 30 but locks up when trying to flip to the ammy draft portion of "preseason".

Does the mouse still move when you say the game freezes? How long do you wait before you determine that it is "frozen up"?

Yes the mouse does move...I usually wait 2-3 minutes. When I use the CTRL-ALT-DEL, the game line has (not responding) next to it.

Hmm, after your comment of "how long"..I went back and tried again, this time just waiting. It took 6 minutes and finally flipped. Any reason for this major delay? Never been that long before. And the league transactions show 48 trades...wow!

I would say that 48 trades is the reason.
