Post Is it just me?

Hi, love the Game I'm on May the 2nd now, and the one thing I've noticed(and maybe it's just me)but the visiting Team wins 80-90% of the Games. Whether I'm the Marlins in New York(Marlins win)or whatever, the visiting Team seems to win. And also there seem to be a lot of Home Runs. Am I just nuts? Or is it just fluke that the visiting Teams win the majority of Games?

its probably just you...i noticed one guy say that the home team seems to always come up with the game winning hit. also i have like a 14-4 home record, so the road teams arent hurting me. you are probably just being teased on by the game...

I have not noticed or seen any mention of this but it's easy to check the news section expanded standings. I just checked my main 3 leagues and all the home-away W-L numbers are fine. Home run frequency is adjustable in the league totals section of league options if you feel there are too many long balls. Read the manual for info on how to set the totals up.

Didn't feel like starting a new thread on this, but it fits the topic.

Is it just me, or are there a hell of a lot of comeback wins?

That is harder to check, but based on memory it seems possible. It also seems like very close pennant races might be more common than real life, and a 2nd place team overtaking the #1 in the final week(s) seems to happen fairly often too. Of course, not sure if any of that stuff is bad .

I'd *really* want to see some data on this before believing it, simply because there's bound to be a lot of perceptual biases here, because (a) very few people here probably remember more than about 30 years' worth of baseball, and many of them have probably run more seasons in OOTP than they've seen in real life, and (b) you notice different things when several "days" pass within an hour, as opposed to when they unfold, well, one day at a time.

Personally, I haven't observed anything unusual in terms of comeback wins, lots of scoring in the first and last innings, close pennant races, etc., etc.

I agree totally, but it just seemed that so far there were a lot. I'm probably just on one end of the randomness spectrum, just thought I'd ask.
