Alright, I've been having a major problem as of late. I'm in year 3 of my career league using OOTP3. When I'm playing a live game, usually in the 6th or 7th inning, the game either freezes or the screen goes black.
This is frustrating because I have had zero problems with OOTP3 up until this point! I have disabled the screensaver because I thought maybe it was clicking on causing the problem but this didn't remendy the situation. I even uninstalled OOTP3, downloaded OOTP3 again, and installed it again. This didn't fix the situation. Any help would be much appreciated! |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Killebrew, I appreciate the quick reply, wow! I was expecting to have to wait until tomorrow. Yes, I have been controlling the St. Louis Cardinals. They are the only human controlled team in my league. Tell me more about the powersave settings. I disabled the screensaver because it was mentioned in some of the posts I read to try to find out what was wrong with my OOTP. It didn't disable it due to any technical know-how on my behalf, that's for sure! Like I said, this problem just appeared out of nowhere. I haven't made any changes to the game itself or to my computer in general. That is why it's so puzzling to me. |

This is how it is on my computer (Windows ME)
Go to Display Settings (in the control panel), then click on 'Screen Saver', then there should be an area that says something like "Energy Saving Features of Monitor", then click on Settings. Then, make sure that the area that says 'Turn off monitor' after x minutes, is either set to a long time (longer than the length of an OOTP game) or 'Never'. Hope this isn't too unclear.
