Why does OOTP4 turn on smooth screen fonts? Has anyone else noticed this?
If you go in Control Panel | Display, click on the Effects Tab and there is a checkbox under visual effects for "Smooth edges of screen fonts". If you uncheck it and start up OOTP4, it will check itself. I find smooth fonts particularly annoying. It took me a while to find the culprit and it ended up being OOTP4! Is this really necessary or can you leave that alone for the next update? Pete |
