changing player position in the minors?

Will it hurt a player if you change their position. I have to good RF's in the minors and wanted to move one of the to LF.

Also, what happens if you move a player up in the minors too fast? I move a guy up and it has the red arrows next to his name. I assume that is my minor league coach telling me to move him down.

In regards to having an OF change from RF to LF I would think that it wouldn't make too much of a difference.

As far as moving someone up too soon, it can hinder player development and maybe end it all together in extreme cases.
