Slugging Percentage Bug

This is a kinda frustrating thing I have noticed. I am playing the 2002 Career League, and looking at people's stats, all of their slugging percentages before the current year is .000. I just finished 2002 and Jose Canseco had a slugging percentage of .571, but 1985-2001 all have .000 as the slugging percentage, so now his career slugging percentage is .043. That sucks! Perhaps something can be done.
