I started a historic/career league with the 86 season. It's now 1999... check out ol' Bob Welch. I know his era isn't 0.29 in the game... but in my HTML dump it is. Oh yeah, this league was created post patch 1. Anyone else notice any career leader anomolies?
ERA TOP 25 (Minimum 1000 IP) 1) Bob Welch 0.29 (400-233) 2) Dan Quisenberry 2.62 ( 61-59) 3) Rich Gossage 2.87 (111-103) 4) Tom Seaver 2.89 (313-200) 5) Jesse Orosco 3.00 ( 91-82) [ March 11, 2002: Message edited by: AngelsDork ]</p> |

It appears to be something with the original import... I'll send you a screenshot. The guy retired and I don't know how to pull up an HTML version of his stats.

OOTP1 - see this thread for more of the same - looks like OOTP4 imports certain players with very inaccurate first years. The database is correct, but the import is not.

Reposted for this thread:
What version of the database are you using? Players have been known to sometimes not import properly because of the imperfect sorting the Lahman database. Many of these issues have been corrected, in the restorted databases that IatricSB has produced. (available under the files tab at <a href="http://www.boys-of-summer.com" target="_blank">http://www.boys-of-summer.com</a> ) The other issue that some of you could be seeing in the players who've had long careers, could be the rolling over of stats when the values exceed the maximum storage capacity of that field in the database. (Just a thought) That's what I can think of off hand. |
