Hi all! I was using a fictional player photo set I downloaded from bigcitybaseball.com, the one with about 2000 minor leaguer pictures, for a solo fictional league. The photo set worked great, all players had a photo. However, when a player retired, the photos were switched when viewing the player profile in the retired players screen. In addition, the retired players are referred to the photos in sequence. For instance, the first retired player showed photo P1.bmp, the second P2.bmp, etc., regardless of the photo the player profile referred to when the player was active. I hope I'm making sense.
Has anyone else had this problem, if so, could it be corrected in the update? Thanks |

Heh - what the heck, I can double post too
...Welcome to the boards cprongs2 - in case you miss my reply in the other thread, here it is again: Sorry, but that is just the way it goes - having a photo available for retired players was not seen as a priority. This is a database size issue so something like that would probably not be worth the effort required, the league file size increase, and the slightly reduced game speed that would result. A workaround does exist if this is important to you though - just rename the player photo to the players name and the picture will show up for him in the retired screen. |
