Was surprised to see the name Sean DePaula in the 2003 draft - fairly odd coincidence, it seemed, until I looked his profile - he was 29 years old and his stats were intact. I.E., it was *the* Sean DePaula. Using 4a, Rolen's rosters.
Sorry if this is something that's well known or has come up before. bake

Yes, he has a stat line for 1999 and 2000. It's as though he's been picked up from the Lahman DB for the next draft.
The draftees are fictional besides DePaula. I *had* attempted to import David Doster as a free agent during the 2002 season - my only such maneuver - and it happens not to have worked because at the time I didn't know his player ID. That wouldn't seem to be significant to me, but if I am the only one who has experienced this phenomenon, perhaps something that I did wrong has caused this inadvertently, which would still make it a bug, just not one that anyone could ever be reasonably be expected to prevent.
