Angry Am I out of luck?

I was backing up my league on to my zip drive when it locked up in the middle of the save and I eventually had to shut off my computer without shutting down. Now that league will not load but other leagues I have will. Is there any way to salvage this league as it obviously appears corrupted?

Check to see if all the required league files (and folders) are on the zip. Do this by comparing the contents to any working league. Also check the file size of the largest file - players.dat. If it is too small (for average size leagues it would be about 15-20 MB in size) then the copy-to-zip might have pooped out while copying this file. If some of the smaller files are missing it MIGHT be possible to salvage the league by replacing them with another leagues file. I did this with a league save file once with success but the absolutely vital files (like players.dat, league.dat, teams.dat, teams2.dat, and maybe records.dat) must be from your original league. Good luck.

Note - I think you also have to turn "read-only" off on all the zip files contents (from the properties box of each file). That is the case when backing up on CD anyway - just the way PC's work.
