3d ebabled,corrupt season file, and Pierre's editor? (kind of long)

Playing ootp4 on Compaq Presario 600 mghz win98se with fullscreen enbled. 35 games into career season with Rolen roster tried a game with 3d enabled. All worked well until I hit close on the boxscore after my game was complete. The game then crashed to the desktop. Went back and started oopt and to my surprise the game had saved when it crashed. The only problem is that it seems to have saved some corrupted data. A pitcher for the Orioles, named ayz, now has the single game K record of 5,700 and someand leads the league in saves with over 1,000. Of course this screws up the season records and career record books. Went to look at the Oriole team and found the player. The screens I get when I click on this player are a mess of letters and numbers everywhere. I first tried to fix this by putting the Orioles under human control and then simply droping the player to FA where I would then delete him but when I try to drag and drop him the game goes to desktop. I then edited him on the first screen giving him a name, position, etc but still crashes when I try to drag and drop. I can still play the game but I'm stuck with this error in the stats and record books and he uses a positin on the orioles 25 man roster. I was wondering if this is something that I'll be able to fix when Pierre's editor comes out? Will I be able to delete this guy with it and remove these numbers from the season and career records? If so I'll continue playing this season. If not I guess I'll wait for the gforce/rolen total minors rosters and start over which is something I'd been considering doing anyway. Of course I've learned my lesson backup often and no more 3d enabled for me, although I really liked the look of the game with it on.

From what you have shared here you should be able to correct the stats problem. Though we are not sure of a release date for the editor.
