Help with Lahman database and STB2003 ...

As a devoted fan of OOTP3, I was surprised when I found it at Electronics Boutique last night. I decided rather than downloading as I did last year, I would purchase Season Ticket Baseball (after reading reviews that it was the same game). Thus, I decided to give it a whirl. However, I downloaded (so, I thought the right files) from Big City, but when I went to install a new season (historical league), it crashed on it's way of downloading players. Any idea???
I have saved the data files in a separate folder from the STB2003 in a '98 windows desktop file.
Any clues? Any suggestions???

If you will click on the link(my post above) I believe it is patch 3.

The 1.3 patch. I had same problem too with season ticket. When it is installed you get to choose what database. Choose the 4.5 database and all should work.
