Trouble importing season from Lahman 4.5

Just downloaded and unzipped the Lahman database 4.5, after it was put back on the net. I followed all instructs for creating historical league per the OOTP FAQ posting. Used a separate C:\STATS folder, but when I create the league (using OOTP4 with patch) I get an CAN'T ACCESS DATABASE type of error as it's creating the league. I get the teams and divisions/leagues, but no players! I'm trying to import the year 1968 for a replay.

Is this not possible, to pick out this particular year to begin with?

Some help por favor...

Are you 100% certain about the "path" to the database, that other folders were not created when unzipping the database? Also is this the generic database?

Yeah, I'm 100 percent on the path, Steve. In fact, I deleted the original unzipped file and re-unzipped in case there was some sort of problem in its creation.

Not really sure by your second question about the "generic database," but as far as I know, yes it is: LAHMAN45.mdb is the filename after unzipping to C:\stats folder.

Msoft Access 2000 format. While I'm at it, what's the "comma delimited text files"? Should I download that too? It wasn't exactly clear from the website as to which file(s) should be downloaded. Maybe I need the comma-delimited version?

That's the problem.. OOTP only reads the "csv" or comma delimited version of the database
