still cannot get the lahman datadbase to work

Ok, I have winzip,so it will unzip. I have done everything I should and yet it still will not allow me to get the past season information. Do you need ACCESS to use them? I am stumped. I must have done this about6 or 7 times and I still have no result. Anyone's help would really be appreciated. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

To use the Lahman Database:

Download the file: ( I recommend this site: <a href="http://www.tresclub.com/downloads/downloads.htm" target="_blank">http://www.tresclub.com/downloads/downloads.htm</a> ) *NOTE* the file must be the generic (comma-delimited .csv version of the database)</li>
Unzip the file to a directory (I recommend C:\Stats )</li>
Open OOTP4/STB2K3</li>
Type in the Path to the files you unzipped (if you follow my recommendations C:\Stats )</li>
Select the database version (If you follow my recommendation its 4.5)</li>
Select the Year you want to use</li>
Set the other variables</li>
Click Import League and go get a drink.. the game will import all of the players and assign the players to the team they finished that season with.
