Weird strikeout bug?

I think I may have found a bug of sorts. I searched and didn't see it covered in here, so here goes:

I was playing out a regular season game between two AI teams. The very first batter of the game struck out swinging - I don't remember what the exact text message was, but it was definitely one of the standard things it says - like "X was way behind that pitch" or something like that. It definitely did NOT say anything about a dropped third strike or anything of the kind. However, instead of heading back to the dugout, he went to first base as though it were a walk. I immediately checked the box score and game log and they had it down as a K. The next batter came to the plate, and while he was batting, this mystery runner got thrown out at second trying to steal. I have it right in the game log - first it says "X struck out swinging", then "X was thrown out at second trying to steal." As I haven't seen this before or heard anything about it, I just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention.

Is this w/ v4? This is a known issue.

Yes - it's version 4. I just decided to think of it as a dropped third strike.

That is what it was, just for some reason doesn't show up in pbp.
