okay, I've downloaded it 4 times and same error

I always end up short of having the complete download as explained by someone else on this page. Which site actually has all the info that I need just to install the game? because every baseball i pick(including the 1.44 version) ends up not working...

By the "1.44 version" you probably mean a download link recommended for dial-up modems? If you are having trouble getting the complete download of the OOTP4 install file then clear your internet browser cache. I'm not sure what it is on Nutscape but IE it's TOOLS --> Internet Options --> Delete temporary internet files. Also, if you have downloaded the file anywhere else on your hard drive (like using "Save as" or saving to a particular folder) delete the old incomplete download before trying to download it again.

Maybe some other tech savvy posters can describe why some browsers and/or operating systems seem to save these incomplete downloads and fool the computer into thinking it has a complete file.

Good luck and let us know what happens, the links should be working as there are a few people who have succesfully downloaded the game at this point .

Someone else posted that when they downloaded Flashget at <a href="http://www.flashget.com" target="_blank">http://www.flashget.com</a> it helped him with the same problem. You might want to give it a try and see if that helps.
