RickyJ, your solution is not viable. If you go into the OOTP folder where your game is saved on your computer and click on the file called "Game Configuration," you'll see that you can set Sound/3D Mode as Enabled or Disabled. I know exactly what you're talking about on "Game Setup" when you first start the game. Going to the file I'm talking about does the exact same thing. But NEITHER solution is working for me. As soon as I enable sounds, from EITHER place, the game locks about three batters into a game.
Please, add me to the growing list of people who had no sound problems in V5, but have sound problems in V6. Something has definitely changed here.

I have had sound problems in v5 and v6. It started in V5 after I upgraded direct x. Probably a compatibility problem...but I would have no idea where to look to fix it. Game still superior without sound...but that's the gravy on the potatoes.
