Exhibition Games

A quick thing I noticed... I started a new custom league, so all the stats were blank. I played out one exhibition game, then I simmed one game of the season. When I looked at my #1 pitcher, his season stats included the exhibition games stats in addition to his outing from the first game of the season (2 games, 2 GS, 12 IP, etc). I checked the Game By Game stats, and it only showed his regular season game.

I could just be insane.

But, the only explanation I could think of is that the game is counting exhibition stats into the regular season statistics.

If someone wants to check it out, I thought I'd put this up.

Did ANYTHING unusual happen while playing the game or did you quit or close the game in the middle of this?

Nothing unusual at all. I finished the exhibition game, it ended normally, then I hit sim for a week. The sim was interrupted after day 1 with an email, and when I checked how I did in the game, my pitcher was showing 2 games played.

I've had this happen numerous times when I have quit season and exhibition games before they finished.
