FA offer retraction

When I try to retract a FA offer, it doesn't free up the money when dealing with any OTHER player, but it does free up the money when dealing with that player.

For example, I offer player A $8M/3 out of an available $10M.

I then withdraw it, or change the offer to something minimal.

On the Player A screen ,it shows that I have $10M availalbe, as it does in the main screen.

When I click Player B to make an offer, it shows $2M available and carries *that* number to the main screen.

Just out of curiousity, does it do that only on the same day that you recinded the offer, or does it continue to list the money as "used" for the rest of the FA signing period?

Continues to do so until the player in question signs.
