First Pitch Crash???

Hey.. I'm having a problem with a crash...as soon as I go into the game and select to Swing Away at the first pitch, the game shuts down.

Also, I cant seem to sim the first game either. It crashes the same way.

Otherwise, the game looks AWESOME...

Anyone have any ideas????

By the way....

I'm running a 2.4 GHZ P4 with a Radaeon 8600 graphics card and 512K of RAM in my computer with a T O N of free hard drive space..

This is the same problem that I am having. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but that does not seem to work. I have a AMD Duron 700 with a TNT video card 32mb, bout 1GB free space.

i have this same problem..i dont know what im running...i know i have PLENTY of space though

Are "in game" sounds enabled? If so, disable them and chances are you'll have no problem running the game.

You may need to "disable" in-game sounds in "game setup". As you may or may not know adding sound to ANY program brings up the possibility for many more conflicts with other programs, drivers, etc on a PC.

You may try updating your sound card drivers, but not sure it will help.

Thats gunna be a big old nope on the sound.. it doesnt seem to be happening all the time.. I used the Lehman files that I had from OOTP5 (ie didnt update) and it happened when i use the 1986 rosters, and 1980 rosters both for the philadelphia phillies...

Still crashes though..
