trouble w/ setup

I’ve purchased ootp6 and received my license, but everytime I download the ootp6setup and then click on the icon to run setup, I get the following message:

Could not initialize installation. File size expected=25043095, size returned=6695560.

I have plenty of RAM and HD space and I’m using Windows XP.

Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely, the file hasn't d/l completely. Try d/l again.

Thanks for the advice, but I've downloaded multiple times already and rebooted. Any other suggestions?

Have you run virus scan and defrag recently?

It's possible, it doesn't sound like a file problem on "our end" but something on your system possibly.

I ran a test by downloading programs from other sites and they all work perfectly. I tried to download ootp5 as a test and it also didn't transfer over intact.

If I can't get setup to download properly, do I have any recourse?

I did run defrag and virus scan (no viruses found) tried downloading again and had the same problem. It says I'm downloading 23.8MB but I actually receive between 5 and 10 MB each of the 8 or 9 times I've tried to get through set up.

Clear you internet cache, the problem is with the file you are downloading many, many people have d/l the same one without issue.
