"illegal operation" crash during simming

A few times when I was simming I got the "OOTP has performed an illegal operation and will be closed" message. When I loaded the game again it worked fine for a while and then did it again.

-Your system
-The league
-What EXACTLY happens and when

-Using Windows XP.
-40 teams, 2 leagues, two divisions in each league. 10 teams in each division.
- Occasionally while it is simming games it will suddenly give an illegal operation error and close itself. Luckily it doesn't seem to do anything to corrupt the league when I open it again. This happened two or 3 times while simming 1000 or so games.
