Trade Deadline Oddness

I got to my trade deadline and got some odd mail in my box after it passed.

I got the usual offers being made. Then I start reading the last notes which say that 3 teams have claimed my catcher, Mackey Sasser (I'm playing a historical as the late 80s Mets). I never put him on waivers and I didn't offer him in a trade, though a trade offer for him was made. The very last note says our trade can't be made because he didn't clear waivers, which makes sense since I never put him on in the firstplace.

Don't know if anyone else has see this yet or not, just noting what I saw.

Exact problem I had. I also remembered I had put my player (Mike Lowell) on the block just two days before, don't know if any of you guys did that. That last email (about the trade not going through) discussed a trade with Montreal, and I later noticed several points my transaction news that showed Expo players added to waivers (sort of strange, since they of course aren't on my team).

Sort of an update: Another couple weeks after the deadline (8/18) I got an email that said another player of mine who wasn't really on waivers was claimed (this time I definitely didn't put him on the block), and I got another email about a cancelled trade with montreal.

Yup, just happened to me again, this time with the computer claiming Kirby Puckett. No way they take Kirby

The good news is, no trades get made and no players are lost, so at least it's not something that disrupts the game in a major way.
