Game crashes on sim - Page 4

I just figured out a solution to my problem. I just deleted all the players in free agency and it started to work fine. I don't know whether it was one specific player or just having too many players but It works now.

i had same problem, then filled out my depth charts completly and now it works fine..

ok I *THINK* I found one of the problems. It may have been mentioned here before, but here goes. For all you XP users, I closed down all non nesc. proccesses and now I can sim through seasons with no problem, no crashes. I'm thinking in my case it may have been a memory problem. So give that a try and see if it helps you guys.

Steve, I owe an apology ...

After a few more aborted attempts to get OOTP6 to work on my home computer I finally had success! As it turned out it was very simple too.

I reloaded a backup copy of my OOTP5 league into the OOTP5 directory and then imported it into version 6 and bingo, it works just fine so far. However, I've played several games beyond the inital week that I could not get past before.

I'm a happy camper now.

So, you can erase my problem off the boards.

Just wanted you guys to know - thanks for listening!

Glad to hear that some of these issues are working themselves out but we still want to examine possible solutions within the game when needed.
