Crash

I have started several custom leagues with fictional players. While simming the games OOTP will crash. The length before the crash varies, I have even made it about three seasons without crashing. The message that is displayed is Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error OOTP6.exe abnormal program termination. When I restart OOTP the standings are correct but all the player stats from that season are erased except for the past weeks. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my computer or the game. I'm runnig windows xp pro. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to give me more detail, free HD space, RAM, programs running, etc.

I have 2.99 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, 111 GB total with 30 GB free. I run mcaffe virus scan while playing.

Turn the virus software OFF while playing.

That seems to have fixed the problem. I have simulated about 10 seasons without crashing. I'll let you know if the probelm occurs with the virus software off. Thanks for the help.
