Question Doubleheader issue/bug

when simming scheduled doubleheaders for cpu controlled teams only one of the two games shows up in the standings.

what do i do to get around this?

--in my league i scheduled half the league to have a double header one day, and the other half the next, planning to make it a monthly thing, but all the computer teams have lost a game played even though (i believe) the stats for those games have still be accumulated. my human controlled team, and the team i played against in our double header both have the correct records on the standings page

There is a thread where doubleheaders have been tested out in OOTP6 along with some analysis of the results (though nothing was mentioned about the problem you're having).

The thread is here: Original Schedule Files Now Available at Retrosheet!

Check near the bottom of page two along with some of page three and you'll see the doubleheader tests.

I suspect that you are playing out one of the games with the out of town scoreboard enabled (other games simulated while playing). In this case, the results from only one of the simulated doubleheaders are saved. Doubleheaders are not supported very well in OOTP, but you can work around this particular case in the following way:

1. Play out games on days when doubleheaders occur with the scoreboard disabled.
2. Then sim the rest of the games. When an entire day is simmed, all the games are simmed in a serial manner--when they are simulated during gameplay OOTP tries to interleave the games and loses track of one of the games.

This is a known issue with OOTP for a couple versions now, but it has not yet been fixed.
